We are delighted to have been awarded funding from Islington Council’s Community Chest in partnership with Cripplegate Foundation to run Recoverist Theatre Project in Spring 2022. The project will be run in conjunction with Eagle Recovery in Islington & Better Lives
Recoverist Theatre Project is a ten-week, two hours a week drama and applied theatre project for adults in recovery living in the borough of Islington where you can engage with drama to reclaim and rediscover your creative voice.
Working with experienced facilitators, participants will develop new skills and build confidence while working with other adults in recovery. The workshops are open to all abilities with no previous experience needed.
Each week we will explore a new aspect of participatory applied theatre and drama practice including improvisation, devising techniques, creative writing and creating characters.

The project will run on a Friday afternoon with a start date of Friday April 29th & and an end date of Friday July 8th (there will be no session on Friday 3rd June)
The sessions will start at the same time each week for two hours from 2.30 - 4.30 pm
