RECOVERY MONTH 2024: BETTER LIVES ISLINGTON

This month islingtonpeoplestheatre has been involved with supporting Recovery Month at #betterlives, Islington & Camden's largest drug and alcohol support service. On Friday there was a celebration of how the arts support recovery, with an art exhibition, service users retelling their lived experiences through story and spoken word & @islingtonpeoplestheatre running an applied theatre taster session.

It was wonderful to be with the community again, seeing old faces & meeting new people connected to the services provided there & hearing of how much they benefit the recovery community.
