RECOVERIST THEATRE PROJECT - SESSION 10: CREATING MORE MATERIAL, REFINING SCENES & SAYING GOODBYE TO THE SPACE
Friday marked the final session of #recoveristtheatreproject in the venue where we've met every week for the last 10 weeks. So much has happened in that space, so much creativity, movement, emotions... it's been a movable feast!
It felt sad to say goodbye to the space at the end of the session. I will miss my weekly ritual of getting there at least an hour before to set up and prep. Wilson Room - you've been brilliant! And a big thanks to all at St Marys for making it such a great venue!
A further big thank you to our guest facilitator today @mcrose1970 @blueprint_theatre. It was brilliant to have him in the room working with us! Also to @jessicamckenna93, who has been with us from the beginning, & whose support & enthusiasm for the project has been very much appreciated.
After todays first ‘stagger through’ of the piece, I'm feeling really proud of the group and the work they've done and look forward to our final rehearsals before the sharing next week. A final big push to go before doors open and we work in our new space at Southwark Playhouse...
