RECOVERIST THEATRE PROJECT SHARING: I AM, I NEED, I WANT, I FEEL, I ACT

On Friday July 15th, the group performed a sharing of I am, I need, I want, I feel, I act, a 50 minute devised piece of work featuring some of the work they had created over the previous 10 weeks of the project - a combination of short scenes, sketches, monologues and individual I AM poems.

It was a wonderful ending to the project, received positively by a small, but appreciative audience at Southwark Playhouse.

There were so many highlights during the sharing, and it was a real opportunity for the group to show their engagement with the variety of creative processes they have worked with over the last ten weeks.

It was moving, funny and brilliant, especially considering the short amount of rehearsal time we had to piece it all together. I'm so proud of the work the group produced and of their commitment to the project.
