BE THE CHANGE BLOCK TWO: SESSION TWO GUEST FACILITATOR - SARAH TOOGOOD

Really looking forward to our next session this Thursday with the wonderful Sarah Toogood who will lead a session 'The Freedom of Mischievous Clown'.

Sarah says about the session 'Finding the pleasure in being ridiculous. What is uniquely funny about us? Bring along your funny bones & we'll see what we can create!' 

Sarah Toogood is an actor/writer with a background in devised theatre. She has worked and trained with a broad range of companies with an emphasis on physical theatre and comedy ( including Full mask, Commedia dell’ Arte and Clown). For Foursight Theatre she devised and performed as Joan Crawford in the acclaimed BETTE AND JOAN - THE FINAL CURTAIN. Together with her comedy partner, Sarah Thom, she is one half of ‘Kenneth and Gordon’ who occasionally frequent stand up venues, entertaining them with painful renditions of school boy songs.

For the past 25 years she has relished creating characters for both stage and screen. For screen she has written and performed in a number of comedy projects including DR JACKIE AND HEIDI, GREEN PARAKEETS, and award winning short film THE ALLOTMENT, co-written and performed with Amanda Lawrence. She has recently appeared on Sky’s BRITANNIA 3, UKTV’s NEWARK NEWARK and more recently SEX EDUCATION Season 4. She is currently developing an 8 part Victorian thriller for TV with her writing partner Amanda Hallam Lane.

Sarah also has an MA in Applied Theatre and has facilitated drama workshops with Drive Forward Foundation (positive impact on Care Experienced Youth), Clean Break Theatre, Outside Edge, Attic Theatre and as a free lance drama teacher at schools in the London area. She is very excited to be working and
having fun with ‘Be the Change’ this term!
