
BE THE CHANGE BLOCK TWO: SESSION ONE GUEST FACILITATOR - LUCY DEAR
Delighted to have Lucy Dear kickstart the restart of BE THE CHANGE tonight running a Physical comedy session.
Lucy is an applied theatre practitioner, theatre director, participation producer and qualified drama teacher from London with fifteen years’ experience of working in the applied theatre field. She designs and delivers projects with mainstream & special needs primary and secondary schools, colleges, youth centres, youth theatres, hospitals, universities, museums, theatres and arts organisations.
Lucy specialises in working with inner city community groups - building confidence and creating positive experiences through the arts. In the UK she has delivered projects with Brixton House, National Theatre, Soho Theatre, Young Vic, KIT theatre, Theatre Peckham, Poplar Union, Lyric Hammersmith, The Unicorn Theatre, Kiln Theatre, The Old Vic, The Southwark Playhouse, The Bush Theatre, The British Museum, The Gate Theatre, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Chickenshed, Graeae, Green Shoes Arts, New Wimbledon Theatre, Tender, Artis, Lost Theatre, Lewisham Youth Theatre, The Broadway Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, Blackhorse Workshop, Purple Moon Drama. International she has worked in Hong Kong the Philippines and Lithuania.
Lucy is founder and director of All In Your Head a one woman show and domestic abuse prevention project working with communities across the Uk:

Be the Change is an applied theatre & creative arts project designed to give access to the arts to adults who are homeless, or vulnerably housed, those seeking mental health support & adults in recovery.
Join us tonight for the start of a weekly two hour session running every Thursday night until May 2026!
Free to attend. No experience needed.
Sessions start at 6.30 pm. Please be on time. No latecomers will be admitted.
